Our Spaces

Conference Rooms

The Kairos Centre has various meeting rooms ideal for small to large group gatherings in which delegates are guaranteed a sense of space and tranquillity. 

The rooms are accessible by wheelchair with a lift to all floors and the larger venues are equipped with hearing loops. 

Seating and table arrangements are flexible. Conference equipment including laptops, projectors, screens and microphones are available and our main halls are equipped with ceiling projectors and built-in speakers.

The Kairos Hall & Gallery

The Kairos Hall is our flagship auditorium and can seat up to 120 guests. Given the attractive space and facilities, including a large projection screen, PA system and the capacity for different multi-media setups, it is a perfect venue for different-sized functions. It also has a retractable central partition for smaller gatherings.

The adjacent Gallery has the capacity to seat up to 30 and is an ideal place for a breakout room or the serving of refreshments.

Lift access to these venues on the first floor allows accessibility for all delegates.

Terrace Hall

Located on the ground floor near the Centre entrance, this spacious room can seat up to 60 guests.  It is fully accessible, includes a ceiling projector, large projection screen and built-in speakers.  A sound and hearing loop system enhances our provision for guests.  This venue offers great flexibility to suit various functions, and direct access to the terrace and landscaped gardens makes it a beautiful and ideal setting.

Fullerton Room

This is an elegant, south-facing room next to the Reception on the ground floor. It is ideal for a boardroom layout, breakout space or an intimate atmosphere for private events for up to 15 people.

Rose Room

Given its primary location next to the Kairos Centre Reception and dining facilities, this room serves as a very comfortable and popular conference room.  It can accommodate up to 30 guests and it boasts direct access onto the Terrace and landscaped gardens.  With its own ceiling projector, projector screen and capacity for multi-media set-ups, this venue offers a welcoming and creative space.

Taylor Suite

The Taylor Suite is perfect for small informal meetings and is only available for hire at weekends. The suite comprises both a meeting room and a separate kitchen area.  Whilst the cosy seating area provides a great setting for more relaxed engagements, the adjoining spacious kitchen provides instant access to tea and coffee-making facilities. The addition of a dining table, which comfortably seats 6, provides an extra facility for a breakout area.

The Suite has a maximum capacity of 9.

Maryfield Room

Overlooking the outstanding views of Richmond Park and our own unique terrace and landscaped gardens from the first floor, this is a peaceful yet understated space. With easy access to the nearby lift, a capacity of up to 20 delegates and the availability of a 40-inch TV, this room provides the ideal ambience for smaller meetings or as a breakout room.

The Conservatory

This sun-lit, classic and attractive space is ideally located on the ground floor and holds up to 20 people in an informal setting.   It is perfect for serving refreshments.  Whilst this venue is not used for group meetings and cannot be hired, it may however, be used by groups if agreed in advance and is available to our guests booked on Kairos retreats.

Sacred spaces

These special places of worship, praise and prayer consist of the Chapel and Prayer Room. Open and accessible to all guests of the Kairos Centre, these are ideally located on the ground floor and second floor, respectively. These are not available for hire, but it is possible that separate arrangements can be made with groups in advance.

We are extremely fortunate to have our own well-stocked library located on the first floor. Unless it is allocated for a Quiet Day booking or a room for use during Kairos Retreats, we extend a very warm invitation to all our guests to use this valued public space. This quiet and tranquil accommodation helps create the perfect ambience for reading, reflection and relaxation.

Summer House

Our newly refurbished Summer House is a magnificent location for quiet reflection, prayer and relaxation. Nestled within our landscaped gardens and surrounded by nature's endless beauty, it is available to our guests in the Summer months and is simply yet pleasantly furnished. The additional provision of outdoor seating enhances the quality of experience in this unique space.

Accommodation

The Kairos Centre has a variety of rooms available.  We have overnight accommodation in single or twin rooms, standard and en-suite. As part of our provision, we also have a self-contained bungalow.   

We can facilitate 26 guests on a single occupancy and 37 when sharing. We offer Bed & Breakfast as well as Full-Board, and our rooms are conducive to peace, quiet and relaxation.

Dining at Kairos

Our in-house catering staff take great pride and care in delivering delicious and nutritious home-cooked fare whilst paying particular attention to dietary requirements and allergens. We strongly recommend you refer to our Catering Information Page for further details.

Guests who avail of the retreats hosted by the Kairos Centre experience our full board provision and are also invited to our daily Afternoon Tea offering in the Conservatory. 

We also cater to groups who require a working or buffet-style lunch. This can range from a sandwich and fruit offering to a selection of cold and hot platters. Our Afternoon Tea packages are open to groups who wish to indulge in a selection of sweet treats.

During a stay at the Kairos Centre, guests can enjoy the following:

  • A continental breakfast which includes a selection of cereals, fruits, porridge, toast, juices, teas and coffees.

  • A light lunch of soup and roll or a choice of a two or three-course lunch

  • A two-course evening supper.
